As Independent Financial Advisers, we are legally obliged bound to access and recommend the most suitable products and/or services across the whole of the marketplace to suit client needs. Remuneration can be paid on a fee or commission offset basis to suit your requirements.

We have fully embraced the Regulator’s Treating Customers Fairly principles through our advisory and client service processes, remuneration practices and highly competitive advisory charges in respect of the bespoke services that we provide.

With effect from 26 October 2007 Nolan Baptist & Bond were authorised by the FSA to receive and transmit orders in relation to one or more financial instruments or investment advice under European legislation in respect of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID). This enables the firm to continue providing advice and service to clients of the practice who reside permanently or semi-permanently in EU states other than the UK.

The firm also continues to provide advice and service other overseas clients including ex patriate clients who reside overseas other than in the EU.

Information that we hold about clients

In order to advise clients properly, Nolan Baptist & Bond need to obtain comprehensive information about clients’ personal and financial circumstances.

By providing such data:

  1. Clients agree that the information held about them can be held and stored electronically (eg on computers including laptops, PDAs, discs and tapes) and/or on paper or other suitable media for permanent storage.
  2. Clients agree that any information which they give to us may be disclosed where relevant to appropriate third parties for the purpose of processing an application (s) and for the ongoing administration of savings, investments (including pensions),policies or protection contracts arranged through us but for no other purpose.

Such data is subject to comprehensive security procedures which are designed to minimise the possibility of sensitive client data falling inadvetenly into the wrong hands. Our procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure best practice.
